TO THE WARD BOUNDARIES

KNOXVILLE, TENN.

The City is divided into nine Wards, bounded as follows:

First Ward - Beginning at the southeast corner of Gay and Cumberland, thence south to River, thence east with River to McCammon Spring branch, thence with said branch northwest to E. Main, then west on E. Main to Cumberland to the place of beginning.

Second Ward - Beginning at the southwest corner Gay and Cumberland, thence west with Cumberland to Second Creek, thence south with Second Creek (the corporation line) to River, thence east with River to line of Gay.

Third Ward - Beginning at the northeast corner Gay and Cumberland, thence north on Gay to Clinch, thence east on Clinch to corporation line, thence southeast with said line to E. Main, thence southwest on E. Main to Cumberland, thence west on Cumberland to the place of beginning.

Fourth Ward - Beginning at the northwest corner of Gay and Cumberland, up Gay to Clinch, thence with Clinch to Second Creek, thence with Second Creek to Cumberland, thence with Cumberland to the place of beginning.

Fifth Ward - Beginning at the northeast corner of Gay and Clinch, thence north on Gay to Vine, thence with Vine and Mabry to corporation line, thence with the corporation line to Clinch, thence with Clinch west to the place of beginning.

Sixth Ward - Beginning at northwest corner Gay and Clinch, thence north on Gay to E.T.V.&G.R.R., thence westwardly to Second Creek, thence south with said creek to Clinch, thence east on Clinch to the place of beginning.

Seventh Ward - Beginning at northeast corner Crozier and Mabry, north with Crozier to corporation line, northeast to First Creek, thence south on Frist Creek to corporation line at bend of First Creek, thence southeastwardly to Mabry, thence west of Mabry to the place of beginning.

Eighth Ward - Beginning at northwest corner Crozier and Vine, thence north to Jennings, thence with Jennings west to Second Creek, thence south with Second Creek to York ave, thence east on York ave to Gay, thence south on Gay to Vine, thence east on Vine to the place of beginning.

Ninth Ward - Beginning at middle of Second Creek at northwest corner of corporation line, thence northwest with said Creek to north side of Munson to line of Dameron's Addition, thence west in a direct line to the northeast corner of Boyd and Moses streets, thence westwardly on Moses to west side of Clinton rd, thence along the west side of Clinton rd, thence along the west side of Clinton rd, southwestwardly to the north comer of McCullum's Addition, thence southwestwardly with line of same to Pritchard's line, thence east with Pritchard's line to Fort Sanders ave, thence southwardly with west side of Fort Sanders ave to center of E T V & G R R track, thence east along same to a point where the Clinton pike crosses the railroad track, thence west along center of track to the center of Second Creek, thence west on said Creek to the place of beginning.
