PARROTT, HELEN BAILEY -- age 42, passed away Sunday at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She resided on Route 8, Foley Hill Road, Clinton. Member of Carroll Hollow Baptist Church. Survivors: husband, Ernest D. Parrott; sons, Bryan, Michael and Rodney Parrott; mother, Irene Hoskins; sisters, Ruby Webber, Pauline Lowe, Mary Ann Bailey; brothers, William and J.B. Bailey, all of Clinton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Holley-Gamble Chapel, Rev. Bedford Bullock, Rev. Jack Rosenbalm officiating. Interment farmers Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton.

PATTON, HUBERT A. -- age 73, of 5544 Washington Pike, departed this life Sunday, Jan. 22, 1989, at UT Hospital. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Sarah Patton. He leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Geraldine C. Patton; daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Eddie (Barbara) Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick (Charlotte) Greene, Mr. and Mrs. John (Jamesena) Watson, Patricia Johnson, all of Knoxville, Shirley Patton, Chicago, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. (Bertha) Patton, Knoxville; granddaughters, Carmen Greene, Jackie and Jacquetta Watson, Traci King, Cathy Moore; grandsons, Eddie Moore Jr., Anthony Burems, Christon and Marques Patton; one grandson-in-law; two great-grandsons; devoted foster sister, J. REYNOLDS, HOWARD, SR. - age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday evening at St. Mary's Medical Center. Lifelong resident of Knox County, retired from Knox Glass Company and member of Flint Gap Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Bert and Emma Reynolds; sisters, Maybell Reynolds and Nellie King; brothers, Berton, Carl and Robert Reynolds; grandson, Scott Hancock. Survivors: wife, Christine Richards Reynolds; sons, John, Steve, and Don Reynolds of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Ronnie Hancock of Jefferson City, Barbara and Charles Reed of Tellico Plains, Debra and Anthony Stallans of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Ruth Reynolds of Knoxville, Kenneth and Aglene Reynolds of Florida. Family and friends will assemble 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Stoney Point Cemetery for an 11 a.m. interment service, Rev. William Bradley and Rev. Edward Luttrell officiating. Rudder, Robert L. died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home on the Maryville Pike. He is survived by his widow and nine children. Joel S. Rudder, member of the county court, Sam, Grover and Pink Rudder. Mrs. Laura Moore, Mrs. Lola Thurman, Mrs. Tennie Kidd, Mrs. Lucy Jackson: 10 (could be 40) grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren: two sister, Mrs. Mary Davidson, of Harriman, Tenn., and Mrs. Florence Rudder of Vestal; one brother, B.R. Rudder, Washington. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mount Olive Baptist church. Rev. S. C. Grigsby, assisted by Rev. S.P. Angel will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olive cemetery. Active pallbearers: John Kidd, Albert Rudder, Robert Thurman, Luther Jackson, Howard Rudder and John Rudder. Honorary: Cecil Moore, Robert Rudder. Mr. Rudder was a veteran of the Civil War, have served with distinction in Company Seventh or Eleventh Tennessee Infantry Regiment.
