Avenue Baptist Church From Vacation Bible School in a Tent to... |

Timothy Street Baptist Church had its beginning in a tent erected for the purpose of holding a V[acation] B[ible] S[chool] and Tent Revival. The Bible School dates were August 14 through August 18, 1950.
The Tent Revival began
August 14 and continued through August 25th. During these days,
24 decisions were recorded. Billy "Red" Kelly served as
the evangelist.
