On August 27, 1950, Timothy Street Mission had its official beginning. On that date the church purchased a lot on which to erect a building.
In 1955 the church borrowed
four thousand dollars to enlarge the Timothy Street Mission building.
The Timothy Street Baptist Church was constituted
on May 11, 1960.
