The Church Library

The Church Library opened June 8, 1961, with about 350 books.  Rev. Alastair Walker was our pastor.

Mrs. J. W. Harrison, head librarian since it started, with the help of twelve assistan[t]s has seen it grow to 4200 books.

The Library received the highest award in the Church Library Achievement Recognition each of the three years it has been given.

A regular "Library News" appears each week in the Church bulletin.  All new books are recognized.  Special attention is given to books given in honor and in memory of loved ones.

Appropriate displays are shown in the windows and on bulletin boards in the church.

Teas are given on the Library's anniversaries.

Our Church Library does everything any good library should do, and more.
