VIRTUE CEMETERY
(Evans Road)

Compiled and contributed by David Donahue

Virtue Cemetery is on Evans Road at the former site of Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Still owned by the church, the cemetery is well maintained. The total number of unmarked graves cannot be estimated. About two dozen older graves are marked only with a numbered concrete slab. There is no record to indicate who is buried at the temporary markers. This cemetery was recorded April 2, 1989. It was checked November 26, 1989. Update January 20, 1997. A large war memorial was built on the eastern edge of the cemetery in 1995.
