To the creditors of Samuel Underwood, declared a Bankrupt Take notice, that a petition has been filed in the District Court of the United States, for the District of East Tennessee, by said Underwood, duly declared a bankrupt under the act of Congress for a discharge and a certificate thereof from all his debts, claims and engagements provable under said act; and that the 21st day of October, 1844, at the Courthouse in Knoxville, is assigned for the hearing of the same -- when and where you may attend and show cause if you have, why the prayer of said petitioner should not be granted.
