Died at her residence in Knox county, on Wednesday, 23rd, inst., Mrs. Sarah Thompson, aged 100 years, two months and thirteen days. She removed from North Carolina to this county, in the year 1795 and has resided here ever since that time, showing to all around her by her godly walk and conversation that she was a devoted follower of the meek and lowly Savior. She was a member of the Baptist Church, lived a worthy Christian, during a long pilgrimage and died in the triumph of Faith.
