Transcribed October 4, 2001, by Margaret Robe Summitt from FHL film 1020320 April Sessions 1822(page 359)On motion of Robert TUNNELL administration is granted him on the estate of West WALKER deceased, he having been sworn and entered into bond with Elinor HARDIN & Benjamin WILKERN his securities in the sum of five hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs— State of TennesseeTo Robert TUNNELL greeting. Whereas it hath been reported unto us in our court of pleas and quarter sessions for Knox County that West WALKER of said county lately died intestate having whilst living and at the time of his death goods chattels or credits the ordering and granting administration where of doth appertain unto us and we being desirous that the said goods chattels & credits may be well and faithfully administered do grant unto you the said Robert TUNNELL full power by these presents well and truly to collect and administer all and singular, the goods, chattels and credits which were of the said West WALKER at the time of his death hereby requiring you to make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of the said goods chattels and credits and the same be made to exhibit or cause to be exhibited into our said court, within ninety days from the date hereof—and also to return [?] a just and true account of administration when thereto required.
