In Chancery -- Jas M Carter vs. Martha Clift and others. In the cause it appearing to the Master that M Curry and Ann his wife, Mary Walker, Jefferson Starnard and Sarah his wife, Robert Pierce and wife, Elizabeth, Robert White and wife, Hannah, Wiley Jordan and his wife, Alice; are non-residents of the state and party defendant to the bill, it is ordered that publication for four weeks be made in the Southern Citizen, calling on said non-resident defendants, to appear at the next term of Chancery Court to be held at Knoxville on the 1st Monday of April next, to plead, answer or demur to said bill or the same will be taken as confessed to them and set for hearing.
