From 1976-1986, Robert McGinnis visited every graveyard in Knox County and transcribed the data from 125,000 tombstones. The index cards he created, cross-referenced, and often annotated, are filed for patron use at the McClung Historical Collection in Knoxville. If you have information on these or other lost Knoxville graveyards, please contact McClung.

Thanks, Robert!
