WELLS-Mary Huffaker.Seek information on where Mary is. Can trace her through the 1929 city directory in Knoxville and then no other trace can be found of her. She married Herman Wells 9 Oct 1924 in Knoxville. Herman was murdered in Knoxville Feb 1932. Herman is buried at Thorngrove Cem. in Knoxville but no information of Mary possibly dying before him and buried there. No trace can be found in the four divorce courts in Knoxville at that time. One piece of information recieved was that she might have went to Chattanoogna. Mary's birthdate is 18 Dec 1907. Parents were Melvin Arthur and J.V. May Atchley Huffaker. Does anyone know what happened to Mary or where she is???

Any info on Myrtle Gladys Parsons or Myrtle Gladys Barnes and J. E Barnes. My birthdate was 2-19-49 in Knoxville General Hospital. Cannot locate any other records, that month has dissapeared from the Knox County Archives. Was adopted by J. David and Anne H. Pope. J. David Pope was an atty and Anne worked at Crane and Co. and C.M McClung Co. I understand that Myrtle Gladys Parsons or Barnes also worked at McClung's while pregnant with me. Also, "putative" father might be a Ernest Hutson or Ernest Hudson. I did find Myrtle Gladys Barnes on Pennock Lane in Nashville Census in 1948; however, she disppeared after that. Would appreciate any info any one can provide. Thank you.
