I would appreciate any info on Miranda Loretta Morris, who was supposedly a cherokee from the Knoxville area, who married William Montgomerey Shaw. They were my gggrandparents. I believe there are relatives & fellow researchers located in the Knoxville area.

I am in the process of doing some research work on a small settlement in northeastern Knox County by the name of Tuckahoe Tennessee. It is located around the Kodak area. At one time probably in the late twenties there was a grist mill there and little else. I would appreciate it very much if you could sent me any information you have on this early settlement.
